About the Lodge
A High Desert Venue Built on Hospitality
River Run Lodge overlooks the Deschutes River in Central Oregon's high desert — a setting that never gets old. Canyon walls rise dramatically on all sides, views of Mt. Jefferson on the horizon, and the river runs serenely below it all.
We're an event venue that takes pride in being genuinely helpful. Our team has built a reputation for being responsive, creative, and easygoing to work with. Couples consistently tell us the experience felt relaxed and personal, not transactional. That's exactly what we're going for.
Our venue is full-service by design: tables, chairs, linens, place settings, setup & cleanup are all part of the package. Your wedding day should feel like a celebration — not a logistics project.
Year Round at the Lodge
Every Season has its Magic Here
From snow-dusted canyon views to breathtaking sunset summer evenings, River Run Lodge is stunning no matter when you say I do.

Winter at River Run
There's something undeniably romantic about a Central Oregon winter wedding. Imagine canyon walls dusted in frost, a cozy indoor reception with warm light glowing off the Deschutes, and a setting so serene it feels like the whole valley is yours. Winter availability is limited — and honestly, that's what makes it special.

Spring at River Run
As the high desert blooms and the Deschutes runs full and clear, spring at River Run Lodge is pure magic. The green lawn comes alive, the canyon air is crisp and sweet, and that Central Oregon spring light will make every photo look like a painting. Spring dates fill fast, so don't wait.

Autumn at River Run
Warm golden tones, cool canyon breezes, and a venue that practically glows in fall light — autumn is one of the most sought-after seasons here. The wrap-around deck is perfect for cocktail hour as the canyon shifts from amber to deep rust. A Central Oregon fall wedding is simply unforgettable.

Summer at River Run
Long evenings on the Deschutes River, the Cascade peaks glowing at golden hour, lawn games before the ceremony, and dancing under a starlit high desert sky — summer weddings here are everything. Shaded outdoor spaces and an indoor venue keep guests comfortable all day long.

We take care of the heavy lifting for you! This means your cleanup responsibility is minimal. It's best to designate a few people to gather up any decor or personal items that were brought in.
Can I have a food truck at my wedding?
Yes, a food truck is a fun option for your wedding reception. Please make sure they provide catering staff to fulfill our "full-service," catering requirement and help your reception run smoothly.
Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?
Tours are by appointment only! Please contact us to schedule a visit or to set up a virtual tour.
What is the average cost to book River Run Lodge?
Most of our couples have a budget between $35,000 - $50,000 for all wedding expenses (venue, bar, catering, dress, photos, florals...etc). Some couples choose to spend more and some have beautiful celebrations for a bit less. In addition to the venue fee, your choice of bar package will be the only other item impacting your total all-in cost at River Run Lodge.
